Amarnath Yatra 2021 Starting Date: Amarnath Yatra Shrine Board has announced the date of the annual Amarnath Yatra. This year, Amarnath Yatra will run from June 28 to August 22. This decision was taken in a meeting organized by the board.

Amarnath Yatra 2021 registration date – The annual Amarnath Yatra in South Kashmir will begin on June 28 this year and conclude on Raksha Bandhan on August 22, per tradition. Officials said this decision was taken in the 40th meeting of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board chaired by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan.

Officials said that the registration process (Amarnath Yatra 2021 registration date) would begin on April 1 in 446 selected branches of Punjab National Bank, Jammu, and Kashmir Bank, and Yes Bank in 37 states and union territories.

Last year, due to the coronavirus epidemic, some sadhus traveled. In contrast, three days before the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019, i.e., on August 2, the journey was stopped amid a ‘terrorism threat’. In 2019, more than 3.42 lakh devotees visited Himmling in the Amarnath cave.

Let us know that the Amarnath Yatra 2020 was canceled due to the coronavirus epidemic. Although officials had said last year that the yatra would start from July 21 and continue till August 3, the decision was later withdrawn. However, despite the sudden increase in cases in many states across the country, the board has decided to organize the event considering the COVID-19 epidemic guidelines.

The board said that it is aware of and respects the sentiments of the devotees, and to keep the religious beliefs alive, it will continue to live telecast / virtual darshan of morning and evening Aarti. In addition, traditional rituals will be performed as before.
