The biggest mistake I see new members making is over-promising their services. They try to be too nice, helpful, or supportive. This makes them come off as pushy, which is a turn-off.

They must learn to set realistic expectations so their clients know what to expect. A good rule of thumb is that if clients say it will take them longer than two months, they are not ready for success.

If someone does say it will take two months, I recommend setting up a short timeframe and a deadline to meet. Once that deadline has passed, if the client is still struggling, they’ve got bigger problems than they thought.

The good news is that they can learn from these mistakes and improve their communication skills.
