Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released the telecom subscriber data for Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Circle. According to TRAI’s data, Reliance Jio continues to dominate the MP-Chhag circle.
According to the TRAI report, Reliance Jio ranks first in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh with 3.01 crore subscribers. Jio added 6.11 lakh new customers in February. The reach and affordable plan of the company’s best 4G network is the main reason behind Jio’s increasing customer base in Madhya Pradesh. According to TRAI, 8.78 million subscribers of Vodafone Idea have fallen in February. Vodafone Idea’s customers in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh have come down from 2.41 crores to 2.32 crores.
During this time, the mobile subscribers of Airtel have also decreased. The report said that in February, Airtel subscribers decreased by 42 thousand to 1.45 crore. At the same time, the number of subscribers of the government company BSNL was 63.56 lakhs. According to TRAI’s February 2020 data, there are a total of 7.43 crore mobile subscribers in the circle in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh. Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh Circle saw a drop of 2.69 lakh in total subscriber count.
According to TRAI data, Jio is the first in the telecom market of Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh with 40.5 percent. Vodafone Idea is second with 31.3 per cent, Airtel is third with 19.6 per cent and BSNL with 8.6 per cent.
The number of mobile subscribers across the country stood at 116.05 crore in the month of February. Reliance Jio has 38.28 crore customers across the country, Airtel has 32.9 crore, Vodafone Idea has 32.55 crore and BSNL has 11.9 million subscribers.
