Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, actress Alia Bhatt, and some other Indian artists have been invited to join the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscar). The academy has recently made public the list of invited artists.

These artists will have the right to vote at this year’s 93rd Oscar Awards if they accept membership. Among the 819 invited are designer Nita Lulla, documentary filmmakers Nisha Jain and Amit Madhesia, casting directors Nandini Srikanth and Tess Joseph, visual effects supervisors Vishal Anand and Sandeep Kamal, and film music composer Nainital Desai.
