After the decision of the 59 Chinese app ban made by the government, TIKTOK has stopped working now. In iPhone, videos are not loading in this app, a notice is being shown.
The Indian government had announced to ban 59 Chinese apps including TikTok on Monday. From this morning these apps started being removed from the Google Play Store and App Store. However, TikTok has stopped working now.
It is worth noting that earlier in India, when TIKTOK was banned, a pre-installed app was working on the smartphone of users. But this time the government has blocked it through telecom companies and Internet service providers.
Now on opening TikTok, a notice appears. TIKTOK has stopped working on the iPhone till the news is written and new videos are not loading. The home page is blank. Although it is still working in Android smartphones.
The notice shown as soon as TikTok opens, reads, “We are following the Government of India blocking 59 apps. Ensuring the privacy and security of all users is our first priority.
However, apart from TIKTOK, other Chinese apps like Cam Scanner, Share It and UC are still working. Some of these apps are available for download.
Significantly, the Government of India has asked the Telecom Service Providers and Internet Service Providers to block these 59 Chinese apps. If it is applicable that all 59 apps like Tic Talk will stop working in smartphones.
At the moment it is not clear what will happen to the videos of the users who have already been downloaded or downloaded on the tick talk.
